when, for the first time as an adult, I spent a few days at my grandmothers home, I observed habits and rituals influenced by her low pension. When she mentioned in a sideline that in the summer more money remains – because she doesn’t have to pay for heating – and therefore gets herself a yoghurt or a handful of fruits, I began to understand. this project is about isolation, exclusion, feeling of inferiority and being forced to control every moment just to be sure the pension will fit till the next 30th.
